2. Zojoji Temple - Tokugawa History

The main temple of the Tokugawa shoguns, with 600 years of history. The contrast of this ancient temple with Tokyo Tower rising behind it is an iconic photo spot. Don't miss the rows of small Jizo statues β a peaceful and moving sight.
Free entry. The Sangedatsu Gate (1622) survived WWII bombings and is a designated Important Cultural Property.
